Dear Friend of St. Ignatius,

As was announced in the June 20th newsletter, we will reopen the Church for in-person Masses, beginning with our weekday Masses on Monday, June 29th. The weekday Mass will be celebrated Monday to Saturday at 8:30 AM.

Starting the weekend of July 4-5, our Sunday in-person Masses will resume. While we will still have the 5:30 PM Mass on Saturday, the Sunday schedule will be quite different from the one you may be used to. On Sunday, we will celebrate Masses in the Church at 8:00 AM, 10:15 AM, 12:30 PM, and 5:30 PM. Why the change in schedule? As the Church must be sanitized following each Mass, extra time is needed to accommodate a thorough cleaning.

In addition to the modified schedule, how you attend Mass will change as well. In the video above, we have outlined the health and safety guidelines that are and will continue to be in place. In addition, the video will orient you to the new norms for entering and leaving the church, and for receiving communion. In particular—for the Sunday Masses only—you must reserve a place beforehand, as we can accommodate only 25% of church capacity, or 194 persons. This will be done either online or by calling the parish switchboard. Registration will open Monday, June 29th.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola—Your Parish, Your Home.
