The application form is now open for the inaugural Three Zeros Environmental Initiative Leadership Award. Open to all students from the 2017-2018 academic year, the recipient will be announced on Sep. 25 during Three Zeros Day and will receive $500 for their work in moving UNC-Chapel Hill toward the Three Zeros goals.
When students return to campus this fall, there will be new programs through Carolina Dining Services to reduce waste on campus and move UNC toward its Three Zeros Environmental Initiative goals.
