Cogeneration Burner Project Lowers Greenhouse Gas Emissions

A restoration project at UNC's cogeneration facility will allow the Energy Star-rated plant to expand natural gas capacity and lower greenhouse gas emissions.

The Three Zeros Environmental Initiative partnered with Carolina Dining Services on the Eat Sort Win! campaign, which won the Silver Award for Education and Outreach in the National Association of Colleges and University Food Service (NACUFS) Sustainability Award Contest!

Carolina Ranked #1 in U.S. for Sustainability by Times Higher Education

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has been recognized this year by the Times Higher Education’s (THE) as first in the U.S. in the University Impact Rankings and 24th out of 462 universities globally.
