Now accepting applications for the Three Zeros Environmental Initiative Student Leadership Award

The application form is now open for the annual Three Zeros Environmental Initiative Student Leadership Award. Open to all students from the 2018-2019 academic year, the recipient will be announced October 7 during the Three Zeros Day celebration and will receive $500 for their work in moving UNC-Chapel Hill toward the Three Zeros goals.

#EatSortWinUNC Brings Home National Award for Education and Outreach

The Three Zeros Environmental Initiative partnered with Carolina Dining Services on the Eat Sort Win! campaign, which won the Silver Award for Education and Outreach in the National Association of Colleges and University Food Service (NACUFS) Sustainability Award Contest!

Student Move-in Recycling Guide

As move-in days approach, students are encouraged to limit the amount of waste brought to campus and recycle and compost waste that leaves the campus. Read the guide for more information.
