Energy Services and Sustainability Staff Share Trends and Lessons Learned at AASHE Conference

Energy Services and Sustainability team members Cindy Shea and Amy Armbruster recently presented at the 2019 Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) conference and expo in Spokane, Washington. Shea and co-presenters shared practical advice about how to stay ahead of trends and maximize a sustainability program's effectiveness. Armbruster shared lessons learned about the Sustainability Office partnership with Campus Dining Services for the Eat.Sort.Win. campaign.

Princeton Review Ranks UNC In Top 50 Green Colleges

Carolina scored 96/99 and ranks 50th among 413 national and international colleges and universities in the The Princeton Review Guide to Green Colleges: 2019 edition, a listing of the most environmentally responsible colleges. Scores were tallied from institutional data collected from nearly 700 colleges in 2018-19.  Released on October 22, the guide can be accessed below.
