UNC-Chapel Hill is Ranked No. 2 in U.S. for Sustainability from University Impact Rankings

Carolina has been recognized this year by the Times Higher Education’s (THE) as second in the United States in the University Impact Rankings and 22nd out of 766 participating universities globally. THE uses the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to rank sustainability in higher education institutions. The University also ranked No. 1 in Clean Water and Sanitation, one of THE's four new rankings for 2020.

Guskiewicz Marks Earth Day 2020 with University Sustainability Commission Announcement

Chancellor Kevin Guskiewicz announced on April 22 the formation the University Sustainability Commission, led by Mike Piehler, pictured above. The Commission will align sustainability efforts in support of Three Zeros Environmental Initiative goals.

Take the Town of Chapel Hill Climate Action Opinion Survey

Our partners at the Town of Chapel Hill want to hear from you!  Their survey takes 15-20 minutes, and responses are accepted through May 31.
