2022 March of Dimes Report Card Released

The 2022 March of Dimes Report Card was released in November and indicates that the maternal and infant health crisis is worsening for all families. Preterm birth rates in the United States and Nebraska have reached an all time high. In Nebraska, the preterm birth rate rose to 10.8% and our preterm birth grade fell to a D. Policy and Advocacy Opportunity

The bipartisan Providing Urgent Maternal Protections (PUMP) Act for Nursing Mothers was unanimously approved by the Senate HELP Committee, and now we are leaning on our senators to get it over the finish line. In our state, 22 percent of working women of childbearing age are not covered by the current Break Time for Nursing Mothers law. Nebraska is a key state in getting this legislation passed to ensure all working mothers are protected. You can send a drafted email to Senator Fischer here.

NPQIC Summit 2023: We Need Your Opinion!

We are beginning our planning for the 2023 NPQIC Annual Summit and need your opinion! We want to ensure we are offering you the education and tools for success in your respectful professions! Please take a moment to fill out this survey and ensure your needs are met. Feel free to share this link with others, and be on the look out in your emails for a flyer you can hand out to all your coworkers. Your input is greatly appreciated!
