World Health Day

This coming Tuesday, the 7th of April, is World Health Day. With everything that is going on in the world today, there has never been a better time to pause and thank all the amazing healthcare workers who are sacrificing their safety to help us.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the healthcare environment. It affects all of us. Our social lives, daily routines, family outings, work, the economy and especially those who have contracted the virus. In the midst of all of this stress and uncertainty, our healthcare workers are doing everything they can to take care of others.

World Health Day is a chance for us to honour our incredible, selfless healthcare professionals, not just in the UK and Africa, but all around the world.

Alason has been Sai’douba’s support and legs until Mercy Ships supporters, like you, provided the operation to free Sai'douba of his disability.
