urbaMonde and Habitat&Participation invite you to participate in the Social production of Habitat Award 2016 and the World Habitat Award 2016/2017.
Are you part of a community-led housing project (CLT, Housing Cooperative, co-housing or
participatory housing project, eco-neighborhood)? Are you an NGO, Network or Federation supporting community-led housing projects?
Project Submissions: before April 20, 2016
Selected projects will be presented at the 1st European Hub Meeting on the Social Production of Habitat May 20 in Brussels, Belgium.

Conditions:
You are part of a project that…
- works in the field of housing and habitat (upgrading, reconversion, rehabilitation and/ or construction of housing, neighborhoods and/or common spaces),
- is non-for profit,
- seeks to transform the way we produce and live in our cities,
- presents social (participatory and democratic management, capacity-building, intergenerational project), economic (collaborative economy, integration) or technological innovation (ecological construction materials, eco-construction, energy efficiency),
- and has never been among the finalists of the World Habitat Awards,
If selected, you will have the chance to …
- be prenominated for the World Habitat Awards (selection phase 2)
- share your experiences and network at an international meeting in Brussels
- document and increase your project visibility (video documentation)
- help incubate new community-led projects through your experience
- have an impact on the European Urban Agenda and urban policies!
