There is quite a bit of information coming ahead, I'll try to keep it clear and concise.
We will be running through our schedule like we normally do, however, there is rain on the forecast and we will be moving slower as we do leaf removals. Whole yard leaf removals for some lawns can take 2 hours and mulching leaves into the lawn usually doubles the time we are at a property. Please bear with us as we move through our mowing rotation, as it will take us longer than a week to get through it.
We leave it up to our crew leader's discretion on whether your lawn needs mowed or not. With the rain we've gotten recently, the grass hasn't reached dormancy yet. Once we hit freezing temperatures, the grass will go dormant so we will be mowing until then. Mostly, we've been mulching leaves into the lawn for those that don't need a full leaf removal service.
Please let us know if:
We will send out another email once we are ending for the season. In past seasons, we've mowed up to December. The extended forecast does not show freezing temperatures for the next two weeks. We will keep you updated as we get closer and as weather changes.
- You would like to be skipped.
- You would like your services to be done for the season. We will take you off the weekly mowing schedule and resume services in the spring unless otherwise requested. We will send out an email around March letting you know when services will be starting again.
