CompassSport Trophy
Wow, we did it again. Another MOR spectacular performance. 21 of us went to Fascally Woods near Pitlochry, where we came third out of 15 clubs, meaning that we have qualified for the final once again. All the results are here.  Select the Trophy under Results. Our scoring runners were as follows

Name                     Class    Score
Isobel Howard            3        100
Rob Parkinson             6        100
Finlay McLuckie        8A        100
Eddie Harwood            7        100
Michael Bishenden      2          98
Kate McLuckie          8B          98
Andrew Campbell        4          97
Morag McLuckie         5          96
Anna Howard            9B          96
Nicola Howard           5           95
Peter McLuckie          4          89
Rupert Hornby           2          88
Donald Grassie           6          84

Congratulations also go to those of us who battled valiantly round the course, climbing many Mount Everests in the process, but failing to score. Well done us!!

If you would like a laugh, look at Eddie Harwood's Routegadget. Having run in the wrong direction for some considerable time and distance from the start, he still managed to overtake everyone else on his course and get a win.

JK relays - message from Eddie
A healthy number of Moravians have entered the JK in the beautiful Lake District over the Easter weekend. Unusually the Moray school holidays overlap with the Easter weekend so it is the perfect year to enter a relay - (no school rush and the most delightful orienteering).

Please contact eddie (at) go-plus.net if 1) you would like to be entered for a team, or just as important 2) If you are not overly fussed, but will make up a team if people are looking for people to complete one.

The cost of relay entries goes up in March so I need answers by the end of next week. (Margaret and I are going skiing next week so I won't be back until Sunday but I will need to have names waiting on my return).

Next Events
This weekend SOUL 4 is taking place at Broxburn. Our only competitor is Colin Hall. Run well Colin and fly the flag for Moravian. No Moravians are venturing to the deep south for the British Night Championships.

The 25th/26th of February is a very busy weekend with three events.

MAROC - Ballater Sprint - Sat 25 Feb 23
MAROC - Scottish Night Championships Balmoral - Sat 25 Feb 23
GRAMP Regional @ Balmedie - Sun 26 Feb 23

You can enter all three events on this SIentries site.

NB Rob will be writing next week's newsletter if you want to add any content. If you send it to newsletter@mor.scot we can both see it anyway.
