Dear M.S.M. Alumni/ae Community,
It's almost time!
In a week, we will convene on campus for our Sacred Music reunion. We have been working hard to make sure that everything is ready to receive you all. If you do plan to attend, but have not yet registered, please do this as soon as possible. Registrations will close on Tuesday, March 3, and we look forward to hosting as many of you as possible for this event. Register here.
If you have visited the event website (find it by clicking here), you will see that our program features several priorities.
The first of these is celebrating the legacy and the relationships that have stemmed from 60 years of MSMs who have come through the program. Specifically, we look forward to remembering the legacy of Jane Marshall and her history with Perkins. We've provided ample time to hang out, visit with each other, share meals and worship together.
Our second focus is to look toward the future of sacred music education and professional life. We look forward to interacting with Mel Bringle and Monique Ingalls, our two guest speakers, and shaping the vision of our program for decades to come. It is vital to us that your voice is heard in this conversation. If you aren't able to attend, please take a moment to reach out and share any thoughts you might have about these issues, or a story of your time here at Perkins.
Thanks to all of those who have agreed to serve in various capacities as we approach this milestone event. Blessings to all of you, and safe travels.
