Grant information
NuGO makes 8 grants available of 500€ each covering the admission fee of 150 £ and accommodation.

Grant application
Grant application by email: Each applicant should indicate in 1/2 A4 (maximum) their motivation.
Grant application deadline: Tuesday May 3rd, 2016, (12:00 CET), 2016 by sending an email with your motivation as well as your confirmation of admission to the course to Ingeborg van Leeuwen-Bol at

Eligibility criteria
PhDstudent or Postdoc affiliated to a NuGO member organisation (excluding those participants from the University of Newcastle).
The applicant should have received confirmation of participation. A grant application without a proof of admission will not be considered for funding.

NuGO Early Career Network (ECN)

Congratulations to Clare O’ Donovan (University College Dublin, IE) and Valentini Konstantinidou (DNANutriCoach, ES) who will join Diederik Esser (Chair - Wageningen University, NL), Louise Brunkwall (Secretary - Lund University, SE), Sara Tulipani ( Training Needs - University of Bacelona, ES) and Jarlei Fiamoncini (Engagement & Communication - Technical University Munich, DE)  as committee members of the new Early Career Network (ECN) of NuGO.

The ECN will run an event at NuGO week 2016 in Copenhagen and introduce us to the remit of the ECN and planned activities of the ECN going forward.

This is an exciting and welcome NuGO development.
