As of 1st January 2016 Monash University, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, is a NuGO member organisation. The department has developed an on-line course for health professionals, mainly nutritionists and dietitians, interested on improving their nutritional genomics knowledge.
The course will consist of 5 topics presented over 5 weeks and it runs twice a year. It is expected that each topic will take approximately 4-6 hours to complete, with additional time allowed to complete course work. Participants can log on at any time during the specified week to complete learning activities.
The course is aimed to nutritionists and dietitians (not academics) that wish to improve their understanding of genetics, nutritional genomics and the possible implications for their patients.
As of 1st May 2016 By-Health Co., Ltd Guangzhou, P.R. China is NuGO's 25th member organisation. NuGO's contact person will be Dr. Felix Zhang, deputy director R&D, who obtained his PhD from the University of Aberdeen-Rowett Research Institute.

It quickly became the leader and benchmark enterprise in Chinese dietary supplement market, and was also the first in the Chinese healthcare industry to earn an AAA credit rating.
