First: a message from Jeff Gothelf

Jeff Gothelf of Lean UX fame will be in Athens for the Agile Summit.
Here is what he told us...

"I’m very excited to make my first trip to Greece to teach my Lean UX : Put a brain on your Agile Process
workshop
. All too often teams work with a belief (or the directive) that a very specific solution is the only way to achieve business success.

In the workshop we will explore a new way to frame work — as a problem to solve, rather than a solution to implement — that encourages team to discover the best combination of code, copy and design to solve their customers’ problem. This is a key tenet of Agile and agility — putting the customer at the center of the conversation and optimizing *their* experience.

The workshop will be fun, hands-on and full of practical, tactical tools you can take back to work the next day. I promise I won’t lecture for 8 hours. Instead, I will introduce topics and then, working as teams, you will have the opportunity to try these tactics and see how they might fit the unique context of your organization.

There will be lots of time for discussion and Q&A and every attendee gets a copy of each of my 3 books (Lean UX, Sense & Respond and Lean vs Agile vs Design Thinking).

I’m looking forward to seeing you on 21 Sep in Athens for this workshop.

P.S. - If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to email me. I’ve taught this workshop to thousands of people around the world and have a good sense of how it can work in your situation as well."

"Just because we shipped it, doesn't mean it was a good idea"

Third: the Lean UX Canvas, by Jeff

The Lean UX Canvas is a tool which clearly codifies a step-by-step guide to the product discovery process Jeff first introduced in the Lean UX book
