Vital Social Housing

The community services sector is calling on all Western Australian politicians on both a state and federal level to stand up for the vital social housing and homelessness services in our state. WACOSS has written to all Federal government MPs, and the relevant ministers and shadow ministers on a state level, asking them to protect the NAHA funding for services in WA...

WACOSS Congratulates Award Winners

WACOSS would like to extend congratulations to the winners of the Curtin University, School of Occupational Therapy and Social Work Awards. 

Stuart Reid, A/Director of Sector Services and Development, presented Daisy De Groot the award for Highest Mark in Social Policy in Practice, and Lani East the award for Highest Mark for Working in Human Service Organisations.

Both awards were sponsored by WACOSS with Daisy and Lani also receiving a training voucher for our training courses...

Join us for the inaugural Community Relief & Resilience Conference hosted by WACOSS on 24 May 2017. Formerly known as the Emergency Relief Conference, WACOSS has hosted this biennial event for 7 years discussing some of the broad issues faced in this sector. 

The economic reality of WA means that the pressure felt by relief agencies, counsellors, homelessness services and community law is not going to dissipate. 

This conference will explore how to empower those most at risk to become resilient and self-sufficient.

A Quick Guide to Collaborative Tendering
