Child Rights Connect: implementing the Guide on the rights of child human rights defenders in Moldova
|
|
Children are the advocates of our future and are becoming increasingly involved in defending their rights and speaking up about pressing issues. In Moldova, children who participated in demonstrations such as “Fridays for Future” often got into trouble. To protect them, the CRIC and Childs Rights Connect have initiated a new project and launched a law on human rights defenders. Children and non-state actors will be empowered, coalitions will be built, effective advocacy globally and locally will take shape and CHRD rights will be acknowledged and prioritized.
