Seed Funding and Monash FIT

There are many government grant schemes designed to facilitate research collaborations between universities and industry. Monash University has a market-leading success rate for collaborative research grants and our industry partners enjoy the benefits of our track record when developing projects that endeavour to access these funds.

If you have a problem that our experts could help you with, your organisation may like to consider the Faculty of IT Linkage Seed Fund Scheme. This is an internal scheme that supports collaborations between industry and the Faculty of IT with a grant of up to $30k to start the research process. You provide the data and/or access to resources and we’ll provide the know-how.

As part of the Seed Fund application process we’ll work with you to outline a long-term plan for the research, including opportunities to apply for more substantial grants, to ensure the best possible outcome for the project.
