Gua sha is a gentle technique you can use to release general tightness and pain in your body at home or on the go. Do you have shoulder or neck pain? Legs sore after working out? Feet ache at the end of the day?
Kim’s intention using gua sha is very different than traditional users of gua sha, such as acupuncturists, therefore clients typically don’t have the ‘bruising’ affect which is actually just stagnant toxicity being released in that specific area. This technique, also called “spooning,” is a traditional Chinese healing treatment.
