We had a great time at the Social Studies Fair today and we were so pleased to see many of you at the parent meeting this morning! For those of you that might have missed it, here is the important new re-enrollment and tuition payment information for the 2018-2019 school year that was handed out and discussed. Save Your Seat/Early Enrollment


As LAA grows, we want to ensure that we are adequately prepared for the next school year and that all of our current students have the first priority in the enrollment process. We are instituting a new policy regarding Re-Enrollment, Registration Fees, and tuition payments.

All current students who plan to return for the 2018-2019 school year must re-enroll by April 20. The ‘Hold Your Seat’ or enrollment fee will be $150 per student. This will be rebated back to you on your first tuition payment. This is a non-refundable fee unless the student is moving away from the Louisville area.

To enter, parents must have paid the $150 re-enrollment fee per student and filled out all of their registration paperwork by April 20. (We will be willing to split the payment by paying $75 by April 20 and the remaining $75 by May 20. NOTE: You will not be eligible for the drawing, however, if full payment has not been made by April 20.)
 

Late Fee – after April 20!


We need to know who’s coming back so that we can properly plan our classrooms and resources, and we want to incentivize parent cooperation. If parents choose not to re-enroll by April 20, there will be a $25 late fee assessed for each month they are late. If paid before May 20, it will be $25, if before June 20, it will be $50, etc. Late fees will not be rebated to tuition payments.
 

12-month Payment Plan


Our goal is always to help you afford Christian education.  We know that from time to time it can be a struggle for this incredible but worthwhile investment.  We value that sacrifice, and to help, we are implementing a 12-month payment plan. (The incentive to pay for the full year or by semester remains the same.) Instead of having separate fees and tuition, we are combining all fees and tuition into one bottom line fee - with easy calculated payments spread over 12 months. NEW this year- your equal monthly payments will be collected beginning in June and ending in May. (We know you will appreciate this new system as this will lower the monthly payments parents are currently paying. Parents will now not have to pay the $535 in registration fees potentially in the same month as tuition payments start coming due.)
 

Example


Before: A family with two students would register sometime between May and August, paying registration fees up front of $1070. Their first of 10 tuition payments of $929 would be due by August 27.

Now:  A family with two students will pay $300 in re-enrollment fees by May 20. Their full tuition and registration amounts for the year, combined, equal $10,360, and will be divided into 12 equal payments of $863. The first payment in June will be reduced by the $300 re-enrollment fee, so it would be only $563. (If they win the $100 scholarship drawing, it would only be $463!
