Dear <<First Name>>,

We did it! We made it through the first week and we are so excited because it went beyond our expectations. We had a few hiccups that we have worked out (or will be working out this weekend!) but overall it has gone much more smoothly than we even hoped.

It's been most intriguing to watch the students interacting with each other, both in-person and on-line, and they have expressed gobs of blessings from the Lord to be able to connect again. It is amazing to see the relationships that have developed at LAA and we are glad to continue together through this most unfortunate time. It has been great to see the smiles and happiness on the student's faces.

We are looking forward to our first full week starting this coming Monday, and starting to really dive into the academics.

To the distance learning parents, we hope your student's first few days have gone well. Please contact your student's teachers or the office if you have any suggestions for improvements or if you have questions. We all need to keep the doors of communication open so that we make sure each student has their needs met in this unprecedented school year.

To our in-person students, we want to remind you of several things. Hot lunch will be now served daily with Ms. Patti. (Menu listed on our website here.) Our after-school care is available with Mrs. Parker until 5 pm daily M-Th, and on Friday as needed with rotating teachers. Also, thank you to our students, who have been doing a great job keeping their masks on and following the enhanced safety guidelines.

Remember, only you can prevent forest fires!
