A CALL FOR QUILTS! The Downingtown Library is sponsoring a quilt show to promote quilts as art with the quilts to be raffled off as a fund raiser for the library. We are looking for any interested quilter to make a small “art” quilt as a donation. The size request is 16” wide by 20” long. Any subject matter, any method, including hand or machine quilting and any form of embellishment is acceptable. Please sign or label your quilt and include a sleeve or corner triangles for hanging. A dowel is not necessary. Quilts will be accepted now through 3/20.

YEAR OF TRYING NEW THINGS!
We will be offering various programs each month with opportunities to try something new! First up: KARAOKE! Beginners or pros, all are welcome. Refreshments will be served.REGISTER HERE.
REGISTER HERE for a 5 week session, every Thurs. starting 1/18 at 5pm. $25 fee due at first class. Includes learning packet. Must be 15 years or older & must provide own ukulele. Registration for March session opens 2/8. All are welcome to join our Ukulele Jam Sessions on Sat. 1/27 & 2/24 at 9:30am.
The Friends of the Downingtown Library will begin accepting donations of gently used books, CDs and DVDs for the Spring Book Sale on February 5th inside the library. The sale will take place March 16th-18th.

Participants are encouraged to use their imagination as they build with blocks and toys. Through play, children will practice and develop their numeracy, language and social skills. Parents are encouraged to stay. Open play for preschool ages 3-6. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
Nature Scouts Second Sat. of each month 9-10am
Open to children in 1st through 5th grades. We will explore habitats, discover plants & animals in our very own Kerr Park. All will work together on projects that will benefit the park. Registration required. Rain or shine. REGISTER FOR FEB

Our Teen Club meets every Wednesday at 6:30pm. We work on projects and help set up for library activities and have fun while doing it!
