To the Pitt-Greensburg Campus Community:

As you are aware, the University of Pittsburgh updated its guidelines for face coverings to be consistent with the CDC guidance, which relies on community COVID-19 levels to determine when indoor masking is required.

Effective Monday, March 28, face coverings will be optional inside University facilities on the Pitt-Greensburg campus. Should conditions in our community change significantly before March 28, the change will be revisited.

Please respect individual decisions regarding whether to or not to wear a face covering. All members of our community are welcome to wear a face covering at any time for any reason. The University will continue to provide face coverings at concierge stations throughout our campus. Read frequently asked questions about face coverings.

All of the University’s other mitigation requirements remain in place. This includes our weekly COVID-19 testing program for unvaccinated individuals, restricted building access, and guest registration. If you are still in need of the COVID-19 vaccine or booster, please check with your local pharmacy. For those who are vaccinated and boosted, please upload your COVID-19 vaccine/booster shot record (students | employees).

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping to keep our community safe.
