Save the date: NCOH Science Café

The strength of NCOH lies in the intensive collaboration between all partners. Exchanging information and sharing knowledge among all partners is at the heart of our collaboration.

That is why, at least once every year, a NCOH Science Café will be organized. These meetings are a great opportunity for everyone involved in NCOH to get up to speed on all developments within the consortium. The first Science Café will take place on 4 November 2016 at Utrecht University. Save the date so you don’t miss this event! You will be informed in detail in due course.

A cup of coffee with Marc Bonten

Almost four months have passed since the launch of the NCOH in The Hague. From the outside it may have looked as if all “remained quiet at the NCOH front”. Yet, I dare say that inside NCOH activities have exploded. On behalf of the Scientific Board, let me share with you the latest exciting developments.

Theme meetings

In addition to the yearly Science Cafés, meetings will be organized for all four themes every three months. Subjects on the agenda are to talk about updates and funding opportunities for NCOH or external projects, catching up from the Executive Board and of course discussion about elaboration of the theme. The theme meetings are planned on:
  • AMR: 8 June, Oudaen Utrecht
  • EID: September 2016
  • SHF: 30 June, Wageningen
  • HWE: to be planned
