We are open 9-5 because you are, the bank is, the PO is, egg'Cetera, egg'Cetera !
The work pattern of some industries has adapted in line with lifestyles but not all businesses can embrace the flexi-time approach. Businesses try to 'hang-on' to valuable staff  and there is a lot of give in recent years from Employers to make it beneficial for their employees to stay when the employee transitions into a different phase in his/her life. Generation X writer D Coupland suggests 9-5 hours are gone and the basis of his theory is the fact a job is not for life anymore and the Internet has warped all future generations into expecting something non-standard from their vocation. This is inevitable as the world has evolved, our youngsters shout I want to be a Youtuber and not an Astronaut, a Business Owner and not a Hairdresser. The outlook is different on life, true but we know we're most likely to get a work- call/email between 9-5 and it's respectful to deliver/expect responses within that standard working hour structure that has been around for decades. The article on D Coupland is available from the Guardian here.

KR1000TL - Industrial Outdoors UPS

Ever left a bike in a carport over the Winter-months and seen the paintwork ruined, moisture gets everywhere. Many Industrial applications require a robust UPS which is engineered to provide power in the most demanding industrial environments. The KR UPS features moisture shielded PCBs that ensure the longevity of the UPSs power protection-life meaning Engineers are not having to investigate error codes or tackling return-to-base downtime. The boisterous high current charger means it's like Thor amongst other UPSs  as it can hammer up the charge again and again in a high capacity bank after a power outage.
If you don't want to nullify your warranty don't put a standard UPS outdoors.

The upshot as to why that raisin from your hot-cross bun conducts to the live plates in your toaster, in very technical speak is here.

Equationy Quote - Boltzmann's Entropy

Entropy S = k log W     k Boltzmann's constant, W the number of microscopic elements of a system.

Know the horrendous LOG tables? Then you might decipher log  W multiplied by k means a variety of outcomes/results. Avoiding atom-discussions and heat, to use Entropy correctly then substitute it in when describing anything that has a 'variety of outcomes which eventually leads to chaos'. For Example, when we receive an Enquiry saying "What UPS do I need? I don't know the Watts, current or volts of the non-standard equipment that I want on a UPS ". Then our Team will ask for more information rather than saying "We could recommend a UPS but if you tell us the Watts and runtime then the options won't be entropic."

And God said, 'Let there be light' and there was light, but the Electricity Board said He would have to wait until Thursday to be connected.      Spike Milligan
