Is an Artificial Intelligence a threat to human race?
Technology nowadays evolves with incredible pace. Robotic engineering has made remarkable progress and some artificial intelligence (AI) experts question whether this could lead to robots being used as an autonomous weapons and how to prevent this happening. Elon Musk, Tesla's co-founder, along with other experts, has signed an open letter directed to the United Nations urging them to ban use of robots as weapons, claiming that: "Once developed, lethal autonomous weapons will permit armed conflict to be fought at a scale greater than ever, and at timescales faster than humans can comprehend. These can be weapons of terror, weapons that despots and terrorists use against innocent populations, and weapons hacked to behave in undesirable ways. We do not have long to act. Once this Pandora's box is opened, it will be hard to close." He called for a ban on the use of autonomous weapons and robots, saying it is "morally wrong". Even though it sounds like Sci-Fi, the development of such weapons has progressed rapidly. For example South Korea already has a sentry gun which can be fully autonomous. The US and Russia are working on developing robotic tanks, and even the UK's Raptor which is currently under development, is meant to be fully autonomous. Technology is racing forward and all we can do is wait and see what precautions will be put in place so that the technology isn't mis-used. The danger associated with using robotics or autonomous weapons is extremely high especially as the robots don’t possess any form of humanity. It will be interesting to see how far this AI boom can go before the authorities will urgently have to come up with a solid plan to ensure safety of their citizens and humanity.

Good packaging matters!
Adequate packaging is incredibly important if you're sending your unit/s back to us for any reason. Good packaging can prevent damage in transit and save you time, money and hassle. Remember in the coming months the strain on couriers & the parcel transport services is going to increase massively due to Christmas. It's wise to know what's a good package and what's at risk of being spread out and kaput on the floor of a Distribution depot, like a White Walker coming into contact with Valyrian Steel. We have Packaging guidelines available on our website in this article.
