Sponsorship Success

To coincide with the opening of Kettle’s Yard, the Friends  will be displaying some of the most precious and curious items from the church vestry, on 10 February from 12noon to 4.30pm.

he exhibition will be sponsored by the world’s leading purveyors of ecclesiastical textiles Watts & Co. Watts was established in the 1870s and has supplied the vestments for every coronation since (five in all). For one day only we will be displaying Watts copes from our own collection alongside hand-embroidered processional banners, ornate silver and liturgical oddities.

We are also pleased to announce that a very generous donor has been found to sponsor our Benefactors' Day on 9 June 2018. In the presence of the Bishop of Ely the names of all past and present benefactors will be read out from the Donors' Book. The Choir of Peterhouse Chapel will sing. Dinner will follow at St Edmund's College. Tickets will be £60 for the dinner and include three courses and a reception in the tower room - offering a beautiful panorama of Cambridge from St Giles', King's College Chapel, to the University Library.
