Since then each year has been historic and evolutionary. Today with well over 1,300 yearly participants, Fieldstone Farm is one of the largest Therapeutic Riding Centers in the country and continues to develop its diverse programs of physical and emotional healing for children and adults.

by Debbie Disbrow, 2019 Issue pg. 41
When it comes to your horse’s daily care, most of us would not settle for anything less than the best we can give. For example, when it comes to your horses feed; you want to be sure that the amount of hay and grain are “just right” to ensure good health. Your tack needs to fit properly so that there is no pinching, or areas that create soreness. The choices that you make for your horses ensure that they remain healthy and safe as well as comfortable. Carl's Place is a Drop-Off Point for Ohio Relief Haulers
Ohio Relief Haulers is a Facebook page solely created to help provide aid to those in the agricultural world who have suffered from Natural Disasters. We love using the tags #farmershelpingfarmers and #ranchershelpingranchers because the majority of our drivers, donors and volunteers are all connected in the agricultural industry! We plan on heading out with a convoy of 50 trucks from all over the state of Ohio, PA and IN on Friday, April 5th. We should arrive to our destination of Verdigre, NE the morning of April 6, where we will be dispersed to community drop off points and local farms/ranches that have received limited help so far due to the horrendous ice and flooding they have been battling for the past several weeks. All of our drivers are volunteers who have either fund-raised fuel expenses or paying out of pocket. All of the supplies we are taking have been graciously donated from across the states of IN, MI, PA, and OH.
If anyone would like to help out our fellow farmers and ranchers in Nebraska, please donate directly to This is a non-profit organization that Ohio Relief Haulers works very closely with and hope to continue to do so if future disasters strike. If you have a moment, please check out our Facebook page to follow our journey out to NE on April 5-7. We will be posting pictures and driver's stories along the trip. Plus, you never know.... there may be a second trip in the near future!
