Hi!  It's been a while!

Happy Fall!

The leaves are off of 70% of the deciduous trees, the air is crisp (when it's not raining!), I find myself drinking a lot more tea... we're well into Autumn here in the Pacific NW!  I hope the rest of you are able to enjoy a bit of coziness this season.  As much as the fuzzy blanket on the couch beckons me, I have been busy at work- and travel!  A big "Hi!" to those I met in September, at the Catholic Answers Conference.

Wanna see some pictures?

Catholic Answers 2017:

Originally, I wanted to send this newsletter from the conference- alas, my ipad did not want to cooperate! And yes, this is how busy life has been, that I am only now sending it.  But I was thinking of y'all at the time!

It is such a nice event that CA hosts each year.  Lots of great speakers, A live radio broadcast, daily Mass, vendors, book-signings, mixers and a banquet!  This will probably be my last year attending, but I had a great time & my mom (my wonderful helper) and I made some lovely new friends!

My next door neighbor was the lovely gal from Give Love + Blessings jewelry.
She had beautiful items- I couldn't resist!

Indeed, a good time was had by all!  Right now I'm gearing up for my next show- it is this Sunday.  If you live in the greater Portland/Vancouver/Camas area, I hope you'll join me!  I'll have plenty of Original Art on display, new cards & prints, and other fun items!  10% of the proceeds go to the parish.

Now for a Debut...

Yay!  You are the first to see Brightly Hude Studio's new 2017 Christmas Limited Edition print!  I decided in 2016 that I would paint a title of Our Lady each year at this time.  Last year's title was "Our Lady, Star of the Sea," in an edition of 50 prints (about 10 are left!).  This year, I decided to do "Our Lady, Queen of Angels," in an edition of 25.  They are not yet up in the store- I will begin offering them there on Monday, after the St. Thomas Aquinas show (where they will debut in Person).  Each archival print is 6" x 8" and fits into an 8" x 10" frame.  They are done in an Art Nouveau style with a quote from the Apocalypse: "And on her head, a crown of twelve stars." (Rev. 12:1).  This print is $35 and comes signed and numbered.

Okay, gotta run!

So much to do for the next show!  But I'm so glad to touch bases with you here.  If you'd like to experience Brightly Hude goodness and scenes from my brightly hued life, do follow me on Instagram or Facebook where I somehow manage to post more regularly!

Until next time, peace to you & yours!
