First off...

As I understand, the Christmas season as Catholics celebrate it ended yesterday... if only I had been a little quicker!  I have to admit, I've been having too much fun in the studio already this year.

But what a year was 2016!  One of my most productive yet... I made a little collage of projects I finished last year:

Whew!  I've been so blessed to be able to do all of this.  Deo Gratias!

2017 has me working on Pacschal Candles already.  In fact- I've already finished my parish's candle!  A record!  Here it is:

The Dogwood flower, as tradition holds, is Cross shaped, bears the wounds of Christ, and the center represents the Crown of Thorns.  More pictures can be found on my website:

Another Video!

I've been having fun with filming!  The candle above was "painted" using decals I made from acrylic paint (the ' Decal Making of ' video to come next time!).  This instructional 2 min video shows how they are applied.  Enjoy!

That's about it for now!  Thanks so much for reading, and may
God Bless you throughout this New Year!
