Omaha by Design hosts the Laurels Awards each year to honor organizations and individuals that are dedicated to building a more vibrant, livable city for all. We are happy to share that Heartland B-cycle was nominated for the Access & Mobility Award. This award recognizes an individual, group, organization, or business that has worked to enhance the way we move around the city and how neighborhoods connect to one another. Heartland B-cycle's Community Manager, Fiona Kennedy, was nominated for the Young Urbanist Award, recognizing an individual, under the age of 45, who has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to making our metro an even better place to live, work, and play.
These nominations are a huge honor and we would like to thank our riders and partner organizations for supporting us to create a livable city for all.
