Bike Station Expansion!

We rolled into July continuing our bike station expansion with an installation at the newly renovation Gene Leahy Mall. This new station provides a great way to access the beautiful space. Look for additional stations coming to ORBT stops throughout the summer!

Equity Program

Heartland Bike Share is always working to cultivate our equity program and broaden transportation options for the community. This month we were excited to sign up more members with our existing partner, Bike Union, as well as to establish a new partnership with Heart Ministry Center. Our equity program provides free annual memberships to our partners and their participants. So far this year, our program has provided over 2,500 free trips to our partners!

Community Gardens

Stop by a community garden this month! HBS has bike stations within a short walk from gardens around the metro. Community gardens help residents with food access and security, improve mental and physical health as well as facilitate social interaction and connection. Check out a handful of gardens near stations below.

We had a blast riding in the Heartland Pride Parade on July 16th! Riders were also able to redeem a free FUN! pass to celebrate with us.
