Dear Parents,

Thank you for supporting us this year.

All of the children's performances have been great. The KS1 children are so confident performing! The Carols by Candlelight were wetter than we expected, but, the atmosphere and the way we all came together was brilliant! Thank you! And thank you to the parents who supported us by buying the candles, mince pies and drinking the mulled wine! It's a hard job...

It was lovely to see all the Early Years staff at the Christmas Fair. A brilliant afternoon of fun and fundraising for the younger children in our setting.

The PTFA have been fantastic and have worked tirelessly to ensure the children get to give a gift. There is an awful lot of work behind the scenes which all goes towards the funds spent on your children at school! Thank you for the Markets, the Carols, the service at Christmas Dinner, the Christmas Jumper prizes... the list grows and grows! You are all definitely on the NICE list!!

Well done to Mrs Steed, who won the Christmas Hamper with ticket #1! I'm sure you will enjoy the contents and thank you to all of the families who bought a ticket!

As we look ahead to 2019 we have some exciting events happening in school.

Our Years 3 and 5 will be going up to the Pinkery Centre for the first time to start off our geographical studies and environmental curriculum. They will be doing work in school and then comparing CM to the environment on Exmoor.

Some of our Y6 children, with Mr Guyler, will be going to London. And our Y4 children will be going to Bristol and will be studying Brunel.

Our Sea School will be working on Plastics, sustainability, the clean water campaign among lots of other things!

A massive thank you to all of the children who have been to #hotchoc Friday! We have had too many to mention individually but I have enjoyed the company of our little stars! The children who are consistently fantastic!

We are back in school on the 7th January! Until then, have a lovely holiday and lots of Christmas cheer!

Christmas dinner was fantastic! A huge thank you to Julie, who works very hard in the kitchen to make sure all our food is fantastic - I know I try it every day!
Over the term we have been building a world! The children have been adding values that they want to include in their world... I think it's a great list of positive attributes! Thank you to all of the children who have helped. Now we need to live up to it!
The winners of this years Christmas Jumper competition! Well done all! And thank you to the PTFA for the prizes and judging!
Raleigh are the proud winners of the ALBERT GEORGE COLLACOTT CUP  this term. They came from behind to overtake Grenville - who led for the whole term right up until the end! Well done! Remember the only way your house can win the cup is to come to school and get Dojo Points! These two ladies are the highest scoring children in Raleigh! Very proud to award them the cup on behalf of their house!
