Memorial Day Weekend In Greeley
The beginning of summer is traditionally marked by Memorial Day. Greeley's outdoor pools are opening as well as Centennial Village Museum. City administrative offices will be closed and Greeley Evans Transit will not be in operation for the holiday. It's also a time to remember our veterans. On behalf of and in conjunction with various Weld County military organizations, Linn Grove Cemetery honors those who have served with a formal Memorial Day ceremony. On May 31 at 9 a.m., community members can attend the ceremony in person at Linn Grove Cemetery or view the program live on the City of Greeley's YouTube channel.

35th Avenue Improvements in North Greeley
Greeley Public Works started work to expand, improve, and rebuild 35th Avenue between 4th and C streets as a part of Keep Greeley Moving. This project will widen 35th Avenue from 4th to C Street and will add on-street bike lanes, curb, gutter, sidewalks, landscaped medians, and roundabouts at C Street. Due to the construction, north 35th Avenue is currently closed.

myGreeley Paver Mural Coming Soon logoLater this summer, you'll be seeing a new paver mural in downtown Greeley celebrating the myGreeley campaign. The paver mural has become a focal point in the 9th Street Plaza over the years when it was helping to promote Greeley Unexpected. Now we want it to encourage people to use the mural to participate in our myGreeley campaign. Artists can apply (by June 16) to create the mural.
