On December 24th, at 9:00 in the evening, over 200 Devon friends, family, students and alumni gathered in the gymnasium for the annual Christmas Eve Mass. Fathers Shea, Aisa, Negro and Renteria concelebrated. Candleholders on loan from our families helped illuminate the reception held in Calasanctius Hall immediately following the Mass.
We are thankful to all those people who celebrated with us, and those who contributed to the collection, which funds scholarships.

For more than 25 years, Coaches vs Cancer has raised cancer awareness and donated towards research on this disease. Devon Prep proudly supported this cause for the past years and will continue to do so. This year, we have already raised $1,460 from fall sports. We will continue to fundraise in the winter. First, we will have our Coaches vs Cancer basketball day on January 5th, which includes an alumni basketball game and the varsity basketball team in PCL play.

The fundraising doesn't stop with the athletes. For $20, you can wear sneakers to school from January 7th until January 11th. Payment can be made on PowerSchool under the "Athletics" tab. Everyone that pays will receive a lanyard to show that they are allowed to participate.
This idea was inspired by Coaches vs Cancer's "Suits and Sneakers," which is where basketball coaches wear sneakers with their suits during games to raise awareness for cancer. We hope that you participate and contribute to a great cause!
Parent Volunteers:

There are volunteer opportunities for parents, both moms and dads, Middle School and High School. Jen Hardie, our Parent Volunteer Coordinator, will be sending weekly emails to keep you notified about how you can help.

Thank you to all of the volunteers who have responded to our requests for the upcoming Fall events and committees! It's not too late to get involved. Contact Jen Hardie at if you are interested in joining a committee.
Basketball season is upon us and we are looking for volunteers to man the table in the lobby to collect money for admission to the games. The shift would end at halftime. We are also seeking coverage for the school store. Please email if you can help out!
