HOODIE WEEK!  Our first event will take place the week of November 12th. With a $20.00 donation, you will be able to wear your own hoodie/sweatshirt for the entire week (over your shirt and tie, of course).  Donations for hoodies can be made through your PowerSchool online payment system under the Student Council page.

FLAG FOOTBALL GAME!  Our second event will take place on Monday, November 19th at the end of the school day (3:15 start).  We will hold a High School Student vs. Faculty flag football game.  The event will be streamed on Facebook Live and admittance to the event will be a donation of your choice.  Please use the attached letter to help reach out to local businesses for sponsorship opportunities during our football game.  All sponsorship donations must be received/collected by no later than 11/20.

MADDEN CHALLENGE!  The third event will be a Madden gaming challenge (open to all grades) during the week of 11/26, culminating with the Championship game during 8th period on Thursday, November 29th.  Entry into the tournament will be $10.00 and again can be made through the PowerSchool online payment system under the Student Council page.  Entry and this payment tab will expire on November 20th.  Additional details regarding the tournament, game times and brackets to come.

We also expect to have prizes, food, drinks and maybe even a guest celebrity on campus throughout the month!  If we are able to reach our goal, we already have a gracious donor that will match our donation!  Please consider getting involved and helping us reach our goal and unlock the match!

Why the urgency?  A check to the Eagles Autism Challenge in the name of Devon Prep will be presented to Eagles CEO and owner Jeffrey Laurie during halftime of the December 3rd Monday Night football game against the Washington Redskins!

Minding your Mind
November 14th, 2018 - Alumni Hall - 7:00 PM

Minding Your Mind’s (MYM) primary objective is to provide mental health education to adolescents, teens and young adults, their parents, teachers, and school administrators. Our goal is to reduce the stigma and destructive behaviors often associated with mental health issues. Treatment is available, yet only 3 out of 10 individuals needing help actually seek help. Minding Your Mind Programs move away from crisis based response to prevention through education.

For more information about Minding Your Mind, please visit their website here.
Mark your calendars for Friday, November 17, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. DJ Torroc will be there. No one will be admitted after 7:30, and no one may leave before 9:30. The cost of a ticket is $10.00. Please pay for the Mixer through the PowerSchool online payment portal.
Girls will pay at the door and consent forms will be sent to their schools.
Devon Prep students must complete and submit the digital consent form before the date of the dance.
Here is the link!

Please Note: A new digital consent form must be submitted for each new event a student attends because the information on the consent form is specific to the event, but the digital health form must only be submitted once.
