Bethune Round Table 2016

June 3 & 4, 2016. Dalhousie University. Building Collaborative Team to Strengthen Global Surgery. The Bethune Round Table (BRT) is an annual interdisciplinary scientific meeting hosted at a Canadian academic centre to discuss challenges and solutions to improving surgical care to underserviced and marginalized populations in low- and middle-income countries.

Global Health Bubble Soccer

June 13, 2016 @ 3-5:30 pm. Dalhousie Wickwire Field. $20 per person or $100 per team. 20 minute games (Five-a-Side), teams are made up of 5-7 players. Dalhousie's Global Health Office invites you to join us for an afternoon of Bubble Soccer.  This exciting opportunity encourages you to keep active, learn a new skill and have fun with your colleagues!

2016 Global Health Award Winners Announced The Global Health Office would like to congratulate our three 2016 Global Health Award winners: Dr. Gail Tomblin Murphy, Dr. Anca Matei and Ms. Maike van Niekerk. The winners of the Global Health Awards, presented annually, were announced at the Gold-headed Cane Award Gala on Saturday May 7th.  Read more about these global health leaders here
