Global Health Bursaries
Fall/Winter Deadline: Sept. 30, 2016. The Global Health Office invites students in Health Professions and Medicine to submit applications to receive financial assistance to participate in local, national or international global health activities.
HAAC-SO 2016 Kick Off
Mon. Oct 3, 2016 @ 4:30 pm. CHEB 150. Join our community and celebrate the start of a new year with friends and food! Health Association of African Canadians Student Organization (HAAC-SO).
2017 Institutes: University of Graz, Austria
Applications Deadline: Oct 31, 2016. Apply today for these 4-6 week opportunities in Pediatrics for medical students. Med 4 students are eligible for the Winter session and Med 1 & Med 2 students can participate over the summer.
Call for Applications: Local Global Health Elective
Applications Due: Nov. 14, 2016. Are you a Med 1 or Med 2 student looking for a global health elective in Canada? We’re looking for students who want to learn more about global health issues at home to participate in this unique half-year elective.
Call for Applications: Queen Elizabeth Scholars
Applications Due: Jan. 27, 2017.  The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholars program offers opportunities for Senior undergraduate and Graduate students. We are now accepting applications to work with our partners in Tanzania.
Dal Med Class of '72 Global Health Education Bursary
Applications Due: Jan. 30, 2017.   The MD Class of 1972 have established an Endowment Fund with the Global Health Office to provide bursaries to fourth-year medical student to pursue an international education experience.
2017 Global Health Awards
Nominations Due: March 5, 2017. These awards recognize an outstanding contribution to the global health community at Dalhousie through: demonstrated leadership in global health; work experience with marginalized communities; engagement in global health research; mentorship in global health; promotion, development and enhancement of global health at Dalhousie.
2017 Global Health Photo Contest
Submissions Due: March 5, 2017. The theme for 2017 is the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  Do you have outstanding photos that tell a compelling story about your global health experience?  Each year the global health office at Dalhousie hosts the Global Health Photo Contest to recognize these beautiful images and inspiring stories.
