Dal Med Class of '72 Global Health Education Bursary
Applications Due: Jan. 30, 2017. The MD Class of 1972 have established an Endowment Fund with the Global Health Office to provide bursaries to fourth-year medical student to pursue an international education experience.

2017 Global Health Awards

These awards recognize an outstanding contribution to the global health community at Dalhousie through: demonstrated leadership in global health; work experience with marginalized communities; engagement in global health research; mentorship in global health; promotion, development and enhancement of global health at Dalhousie.

2017 Global Health Photo Contest

Each year the global health office at Dalhousie hosts the Global Health Photo Contest to recognize these beautiful images and inspiring stories.

Tuberculosis Detection: Rats with an MD?: In October 2016 we published an article about the innovative Apopo HERO rats and their application to tuberculosis (TB) diagnosis and landmine detection. Today we are focusing in on the TB detecting rats, and their uncanny ability to diagnoses TB with their keen sense of smell. Read more here.
