Johnson Scholarship Foundation Bursaries Rolling Deadline. As part of the Johnson Scholarship Foundation (2016-2021) funding, Dalhousie’s Indigenous and African Nova Scotian students are encouraged to apply for two bursary programs: Entrance Requirements bursary program & Conference bursary program.
Teens Now Talk: Youth XPO Nov. 13 & 14, 2018. Halifax Forum.  The Indigenous Health program and Promoting Leadership in Health for African Nova Scotians (PLANS) program will be participating in the 8th Annual Passport 2 You-th Success XPO.
Soup & Sock Drive Nov. 22, 2018.  The cold weather is here and not all people are equipped to have the necessities at hand. The Global Health Office will be accepting donations of socks and non-perishable food items in support of Direction 180's Soup & Sock Drive. Please bring them by the office by Thurs. Nov. 22 @ 12 pm.
PLANS Lunch & Learn: Race and Sport in Canada Nov 27,  2018 @ 12 PM. Dalhousie SUB rm. 303.  Promoting Leadership in health for African Nova Scotians (PLANS) presents Dr. Ornella Nzindukiyimana, Professor of Human Kinetics, St. FX University.
Contest: Rename the Service Learning Program Contest closes: Dec 1,  2018. Win prizes! What should the new name be? Can you come up with a clever acronym? Contest entries can be sent to the program manager at sarah.peddle@dal.ca.
Indigenous Health: Kitpu Wise March Break Health Science Camp
Application Deadline: Feb. 22, 2019.  Camp Dates: March 18-22, 2019. Dalhousie University.  Indigenous youth (aged 15-18) are invited to the Dalhousie campus for a week of hands on exposure to clinical health education programs and cultural experiences.
