Bursary Opportunities for Indigenous and African Nova Scotian Students
Rolling deadline.
We have 2 new Bursary Opportunities for Indigenous and African Nova Scotian students.  The first focuses on conference/professional development support for current Dalhousie students and the second addresses entrance requirements support.
Indigenous Health Summer Programs
Applications due: May 5, 2017
Dalhousie’s Faculty of Medicine Indigenous Health Program provides summer programming for youth from the Indigenous communities. The Indigenous Health Sciences Summer Camp will  provide our Indigenous learners with fun, hands-on, and interactive activities to increase interest in the health professions.
Diversity in Mental Health: W.O. McCormick Academic Day Conference
May 5, 2017. Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel.
Academic Day is an annual event jointly sponsored by the Department of Psychiatry, the Nova Scotia Health Authority Central Zone Addictions and Mental Health Program and Dalhousie Faculty of Medicine Continuing Professional Development.  The audience consists of psychiatrists, primary care physicians, residents, medical students, and multidisciplinary mental health clinicians from throughout the Atlantic Provinces representing Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Adult Psychiatry, and Geriatric Psychiatry. 
PLANS Summer Programs
Applications due: May 8 & 15, 2017.
PLANS provides summer programming for youth from the African Nova Scotian community. The application process has begun for the African Nova Scotian Health Sciences Summer Camps. More opportunities to come!
A Celebration of Global Health
May 24, 2017 @ 1-2PM, Rm 150, Collaborative Health Education Building (CHEB). 
Please join us for a reception to celebrate the 2017 Global Health Award Recipients.We will also present the winners of the 2017 Global Health Photo Contest with a display of all photo submissions. This a free public event, light refreshments will be served.
