Show Up and Write Thursdays (SUWT) Thursday mornings. Next session April 4, 2019.  Dal Global Health offers a "show up and write thursdays" (SUWT) space to write with peers, discuss the challenges and successes of writing about your research, and learn new writing tips.
Survey for Researchers Engaged with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Survey closes April 12, 2019.  Dalhousie’s Research and Innovation Strategic Direction was officially launched in the fall of 2018. As it moves forward, there needs to be a better understanding of how researchers at the university are engaging with the UN SDGs. In order to gather this important information, the Office of the Vice-President Research and Innovation has created a survey.
Community of Practice: Global Health monthly meetings. Next session April 24, 2019. 12-1PM.  Dal Global Health is establishing a Community of Practice for Global Health, designed to work with faculty, students and staff towards the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development with a focus on improving health outcomes globally.
The Service Learning Program: Year End Celebrations
May 1 & 3, 2019.  The year-end celebrations are open to anyone and are a chance to showcase these community-engaged experiences and hear from the participants firsthand about their projects. Please join us!
PLANS Summer Programs: African Nova Scotian youth exploring careers in health
Applications Due: May 3, 2019.  African Nova Scotian students interested in a career in health are invited to apply for our summer programs.  This opportunity is open to students from across the province as camps take place during the month of July throughout Nova Scotia.
Indigenous Health Summer Programs: Indigenous youth exploring careers in health
Applications Due: May 3, 2019.  Indigenous students from across Nova Scotia who are interested in a career in health are invited to apply for our summer programs.  Camps will take place during the month of July across Nova Scotia.

Winning Project for the World’s Challenge Challenge 2019/2020: This week we have chosen to highlight the amazing work of 3 Dalhousie students.  On March 14, Faculty of Health PhD students Justine Dol (Health), Brianna Richardson (Nursing), and Rachel Ollivier (Nursing) made a compelling case for their health innovation: Essential Coaching for Every Mother at the local Dalhousie competition of the World’s Challenge Challenge (WCC).
