Hello Bragi friends,

Unfortunately, this email is not the Christmas message we wanted to send.

The Headphone did start its shipping journey from Asia last week. The first Headphones are on their way, but not enough to fulfill all pre-orders.

All of us at Bragi were excited by this milestone, but incredibly disappointed that we couldn’t fulfill all orders.

Our goal had been to make sure The Headphone made it under the tree in time for Christmas for everyone who ordered before December 1. At the time, it looked like this would happen with days to spare.

Now, we are afraid to report that this won’t be the case. You are entitled to an explanation why.

While mass production has been ongoing, our production team has been building headphones at a slower speed than expected. Building The Headphone is a precision process with very tight tolerances both physically and electronically. As long as we do not consistently hit those tolerances, the production cadence cannot and should not be increased to maintain the quality you and Bragi expects from The Headphone.

The production cadence is currently hundreds per day. As soon as we see the production consistently hitting the quality level we have defined, we can increase the production to a level, where all remaining pre-orders are manufactured within six production days. We thank you for your patience with us.

-          For those who do receive The Headphone this week, your product has been tested, scrutinized and approved. There’s no need to worry!

-          Anyone who has pre-ordered The Headphone in 2016 will receive an extension to their sales return warranty to allow for 30 days.
 
-          For those who don’t receive The Headphone by the Christmas holiday, our creative team has put together a PDF document that can be printed, enclosed in an envelope and left under the tree. That can be downloaded here.

We are truly sorry, but we have to maintain strict quality levels before ramping up production. Our team is working 24/7 to improve processes and make sure The Headphone arrives at your doorstep in the quality you expect.
