News from the MyEducation office:
My Language Travel Adventure

The MyEducation Team are so proud of our programmes especially as each one of us has undertaken at least one of these experiences which has inspired us to work in an industry that can offer these life changing adventures to others. This month Student Coordinator, Sally Webb writes about her summer in Sicily at a Language School.  We are delighted that we offer this particular program in our portfolio of new Language Travel Courses.

All the photos were taken by Sally in this paradise, we hope you enjoy reading about it and get in touch to book your Language Travel to one of our many cities around the word.

February 13 - National Tortellini Day
Tortellini is a signature dish from the Italian region of Bologna, where they claim to have created these tiny stuffed pastas.  Ravioli, tortelloni and tortellacci are all part of the same family of stuffed pastas. The most common fillings for tortellini are ham, white meat and Parmesan cheese. YUM!

February 14th St Valentines Day – Day for Lovers
Legend has it that Saint Valentine of Rome was imprisoned for performing weddings for soldiers who were forbidden to marry and for ministering to Christians, who were persecuted under the Roman Emplire During his imprisonment, Saint Valentine fell in love with the daughter of his jailer, Asterius, and before his execution, he wrote her a letter signed "Your Valentine" as a farewell.

February 17 - Random Act of Kindness Day
You know what to do...perform a few random acts of kindness. Almost any kind deed will do. And, we highly recommend you perform kind acts on as many people as you can.

This is a favorite day of many people and groups. People like the idea of showing a little kindness to others. Its a fun and good thing to do. And, they like being on the receiving end of this day as well. It makes both the giver and the receiver feel good.

Schools have used this day as an educational event, and to promote the value of kindness. Organizations have used this day to promote their cause, and for fundraisers.
