Give to the Max Day And Early Giving!
To jump start Upper Mississippi Academy’s GiveMN 2020 fund drive, a friend of UMA has pledged a $540 challenge match to automatically apply once early giving donations reach $1080. This means that between now and November 18, magically $1080 in gifts becomes $1620 when we reach this first target. Why, you might wonder, is the match $540? Because 18 is an important number to this donor and they decided to make a difference for 18 students at $30 each for a total of $540. Yes, when our support reaches 36 students ($1080), support instantly jumps to 54 students ($1080 + $540)!
What will your gift support? UMA’s goal is to raise $9000 ($30/student) during our GiveMN 2020 fund drive to purchase hands-on learning supplies in all areas of academics, packaged as “school to home kits.” Since we cannot consistently be in the classroom this school year, UMA wants to do more to “bring the classroom to students in their homes.” Go HERE to read last week’s newsletter about project ideas and how your gift will support student learning, engagement and connectedness during a very challenging time!
