7th & 8th grade: open conferences times, parents can meet with teachers as they are available on Thursday and Friday

9th - 12th grade:  conference times for Thursday to be scheduled with teachers in advance using the Sign-Up Genius online form which can be found here.  Friday morning time slots are prearranged and designated for staff to meet as a team with parents.

The UMA PTO needs your help to feed our amazing faculty and staff on Thursday, Feb. 27th so they can power through conferences, as well as show them just how much we appreciate all they do for our students and community.

Please use this Sign-Up Genius to indicate how you can help this Thursday.

Drop off your contributions on Thursday between 9:30 and 12:20; park on Wabasha or Exchange and run your items into the Main Office. Check the Sign-Up Genius for more information.

Thank you for helping us feed our amazing team!

INTENT TO RETURN TO UMA
We would appreciate UMA families taking a few minutes to complete the Intent to Return form by March 1, 2020 so we have an indication of how many students will be returning at each grade level next year.  The online form is available on the school's website and can be found here as well.  Don't forget, siblings of current UMA students receive 'sibling preference' in next year's enrollment process, so be sure to complete an online 2020-2021 application for them.
The recent cold and flu season has depleted our back-to-school donations of tissue boxes and containers of sanitizing wipes.  On your next trip to the store, UMA classrooms would appreciate a restock of these items.  Students can bring directly to their advisors.  Thank you for helping us combat the winter germs.
Job Openings at UMA
UMA is accepting applications for special education paraprofessionals and on-call licensed substitute teachers.  The paraprofessional position is flexible for part-time or full-time hours with benefits.  This is a good opportunity to work on a school schedule and have summers off.  Spread the word among friends and family members that might be interested.  The school's website has complete job descriptions and application instructions.
