Welcome to the latest AI-NURECC Initiative Newsletter, providing updates on the latest activities and events organised through the AI-NURECC Initiative

AI-NURECC is coordinated by the CPMR with the support of four partners from the area: Adriatic Ionian Euroregion (AIE), Forum of Adriatic and Ionian Cities (FAIC), Forum of the Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of Commerce, and UniAdrion.

In this edition you can read about the first AI-NURECC event on the 'Cruise Sector in the EUSAIR Area', as well as our upcoming events and activities to improve opportunities for young people, boost culture and tourism, and support entrepreneurship in the Adriatic-Ionian Region.

First event: 'Cruise Sector in EUSAIR Area'

This successful event, held on 27 June in Ancient Olympia, Greece, was organised by AI-NURECC partner, Forum AIC. The event focused on topics such as traffic flows and sustainable cruise development.

UniAdrion Summer School: Apply now

Applications are now open for the UniAdrion Summer School, running from 17-22 September. The school will focus on Migration in the Balkans. The 3rd AI-NURECC Steering Committee meeting will also be held on 19 September in Ancona.

ECAPITAL Culture Adriatic Start-Up School

The Call for Ideas is open for the 'Culture Adriatic Start-Up School', in Ancona, Italy, from 1 October - 30 November, supported by AI-NURECC and our partners. The school will help young people develop cultural tourism business ideas.

Roots & Paths: Past, Present & Future for Adriatic-Ionian Region

Pre-registration is open for the 1st Joint Conference of the Fora of the Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of Commerce, Cities and Universities 'Roots & Paths: Past, Present and Future for the Adriatic-Ionian Region', in Split on 16-18 October. It is organised by Forum AIC, FAIC & UniAdrion in collaboration with Croatian Chamber of Economy, Split County Chamber & Municipality of Split.

- Seminar on EU Policies & EU Territorial Cooperation opportunities (Skills Development & Training - Action) - organised by the CPMR
- Europroject Design Training Action to promote access to EU programs/funds Albania (Skills Development & Training Action)- organised by the CPMR
- 2nd Training Workshop (Creative and Cultural Industries Action) - organised by Forum AIC

The 4th AI-NURECC Steering Committee meeting will be held during these events.
