FEC Dismisses Complaints 


The Federal Election Commission responded to CLC's complaints from 2011, saying it won't enforce the law. In failing to investigate and sanction donors, the agency is sending the message  that secret super PAC donors, who have admittedly broken the law, will face no consequences.  Read The Washington Post story and the  FEC's Statement of Reasons>>

Tallahassee Takes a Big Step Toward Increasing Participation in Our Democracy 


The city of Tallahasee, Florida launched in March a new program, passed by ballot initiative, that offers refunds up to $25 for individuals who donate to a candidate. CLC helped draft language for the initiative that created the program. Read more>>
