Mentor Advice

Starting a semester is never easy but hopefully with this advice, you'll be able to make the most of it!

· Be sure to look over each syllabus for every class you have. Mark down important dates such as exams and homework assignments so you don't forget them!

· Visit your professor's office hours. It's always a good idea to get to know your professors in order to develop relationships with them.

· Remember that your mentors are always available to answer any and all questions you may have!

· Get involved! A new semester provides a great opportunity to join clubs you may have not considered last semester. Organizations are a great way to increase your professional development and make relationships with people with similar interests.

· Visit Career and Corporate Connections. It is never too early to get a jump start on the job search process. This office has many resources such as advice on 30 second pitches, resume reviews, and more!
