This is the last newsletter of this academic year! The summer holidays and a well earned rest are now in sight so I hope you are all getting out in your grounds and other green spaces and enjoying the summer weather for the next couple of weeks.
There are now two dates arranged for the new academic year for you to look forward to. The first session will be a chance to reflect about where you are with your outdoor learning and plan for the year ahead. This will be held at Marpool Primary School. The first full day CPD will be at Withycombe Raleigh, looking at how Forest School activities can be used for outdoor learning. Please do get in touch with anything specific that you would like to cover. See below for details.
Finally, a few last jobs before the holidays:
If you have any outstanding invoices to get in for your school's green grant or training then please do get them in as soon as possible.

Thursday 6th October 2016 (4-5.30pm) Planning your Outdoor Learning for the Year Ahead: A time to take stock, get inspired by hearing the plans going on at Marpool and plan your outdoor learning for the year ahead. Location: Marpool Primary School, Moorfield Rd, Exmouth EX8 3QW
Wednesday 19th October 2016 (9.30-3.30pm) Forest School in schools Looking at how Forest school activities can be used within the curriculum and for other benefits. Location: Withycombe Raleigh C Of E Primary School, Withycombe Village Road, Exmouth EX8 3BA
Meg Knowles will be back from maternity leave in September and so back in the helm of the project, and will again become the main contact.
